I love to eat seasonal. Most of my food is raw but I wanted to cook something with some of my favorite seasonal vegetables. So I came up with an idea to make a savory dish with lots of slow burning carbs for all the running I do in my favorite season.


  • 1 head of cauli, chopped and then blended into a rice-like consistency

  • 1 can of pumpkin (fresh better)

  • 1 cup raisins

  • 1-2 apples cut up 

  • 1/2-1 cup pecans or walnuts

  • 1/3 cup maple syrup

  • 1 tsp Apple Cider Vinegar

  • 1 tsp cinnamon

  • 1/2 tsp nutmeg

Add all ingredients into a pot on stovetop, stir, heat on low for 20 minutes. Enjoy!
